Looking for a versitile and easy to make vegetable seasoning recipe?

Try your own homemade vegetable seasoning with most any vegetable for a zippy side dish that's sure to please. Also great on popcorn,

Vegetable Seasoning or Broth Mix
This delicious seasoning blend makes a terrific soup base.
Also great on popcorn.

1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
2 Tbsp Spike or seasoning salt
2 Tbsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp celery seed
2 tsp each sage
2 tsp marjoram
2 tsp thyme
2 tsp basil
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp pepper
2 tsp dill weed
1 tsp summer savory

Stir or shake before each use. For vegetable broth substitute: use 1 rounded teaspoonful for each cup of water. For seasoning: just sprinkle a bit on to vegetables while cooking. Also good in soups, stews, & casseroles.

Gourmet Vegetable Seasoning
Add a couple of teaspoons of this blend  with a little balsamic vinegar and Extra Virgin olive oil for some of the most delicious salad dressing you ever tasted!

1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon white pepper
½ teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoon sweet paprika
⅛ teaspoon dill seeds; ground
¾ teaspoon ginger; ground
¾ teaspoon dry mustard
¾ teaspoon sweet paprika
¾ teaspoon california red chiles; dried and ground
¾ teaspoon guajillo or ancho chiles; dried and ground
½ teaspoon cinnamon; ground
½ teaspoon nutmeg; ground

Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight jar.

Fill a basket, pot or large bowl with: your favorite recipes hand-printed on recipe cards, assorted dried beans, brown rice, sun dried tomatoes, mixing spoons, pot holders and of course spices: oregano, thyme, basil, garlic powder, homemade vegetable seasoning etc.
