Easy Homemade Quick and Easy Hand Lotion Recipe
An old favorite quick and easy hand lotion recipe valued by generations of women long before the advent of cosmetics companies and commercial hand creams. Massage regularly onto your hands.
Quick and Easy Hand Lotion
2/3 cup rosewater
1/3 cup glycerin
Pour the ingredients into a sterilized 8 ounce bottle with a tight fitting stopper. Shake vigorously to combine. Keep the lotion in a cool, dark place. Hand Care Hints
Wipe your hands with the cut flesh of a lemon to lighten skin discolorations. Add granulated sugar to the lemon juice and rub onto the backs of your hands to remove dead cells
Massage a little avocado flesh onto the hands and cuticles as a moisturizerWhen using rubber gloves for chores, wear a pair of cotton gloves inside to keep hands dry
To shine nails, dust with cornstarch and polish vigorously with a chamois cloth
Rub untidy cuticles with Lemon Hand Cream, then gently push back
Eat lots of seafood, nuts, lean meat, raw fruit and vegetables to promote nail health
File toward the center of the nail in one direction only. Use n emery board, not a metal nail file. |
