Easy Homemade No Streak Glass Cleaner Recipes

For the shiniest windows, use homemade no streak glass cleaner and sheets of newspaper (black and white only) to scrub and shine them. The newspaper ink may darken your hands, but it shines the windows without streaking.
However, One word of warning about newspaper: while newspaper does leave glass lint-free with a dirt- resistant film, persons with sensitivities to fumes from newsprint may wish to avoid the use of newspaper as a cleaning tool.

No-Streak Glass Cleaner

1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups warm water

Mix the ingredients and apply with a sponge or pour into spray bottle and spray on. Wipe dry with crumpled newspaper, buff to a shine. (Use crumpled newspaper instead of paper towels for lint-free results.

Tip: When using a homemade window and glass cleaner, use up and down strokes on one side of the glass and side to side strokes on the other to tell which side requires extra polishing.

No Streak Window Cleaner

1 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons isopropyl alcohol

This recipe helps remove stubborn streaks. Mix all ingredients and pour into a plastic spray bottle. Shake well before using.
