Want to make your own Chili Seasoning? Try one of these recipes


Best Chili Seasoning Mix

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 tablespoon dried, minced garlic
2 teaspoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons dried parsley
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

In a bowl, stir together flour, chili powder, red pepper, onion, garlic, sugar, cumin, parsley, salt, basil and pepper. Store in an airtight container.

Better Chili Seasoning Mix

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

tablespoons Instant minced onion
1/2
teaspoonchili powder

teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2
teaspoon crushed dried red pepper
1/2
teaspoon instant minced garlic
1/2
teaspoon sugar
1/2
teaspoon ground cumin

Spoon mixture into a 6-inch square of aluminum foil and fold to make it airtight. Label and date. Store in a cool, dry place and use within 6 months. Makes 1 package (about 1/4 cup) of mix

Good Chili Seasoning Mix

2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon seasoned salt
2 teaspoons cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Spoon mixture into a 6-inch square of aluminum foil and fold to make it airtight. Label and date. Store in a cool, dry place and use within 6 months. Makes 1 package (about 1/4 cup) of mix
